Built On Quality Tools & Service Since 1954

When Joseph Ederman opened his Queen Street West store in Toronto in 1954, his focus was on family and community. He sold quality, hard-to-find tools and connected tradespeople, apprentices, newcomers, workers, and employers alike.

Now in its third generation, Atlas remains a family-owned & operated business. Mike Ederman, who took over in 1989, is joined by his two sons, Shawn and Carey. Atlas Tools & Machinery continues the family legacy of supplying the best tools & service - proud to be a part of building this city and the community for 70 years.

Joseph Ederman, founder of Atlas, opens his store at 233 Queen Street West in Toronto. He sold plumbing tools & supplies to his friends and fellow tradespeople, while completing plumbing jobs on the side
