The Tread Template consists of two twelve-inch plates and clamps that fit neatly into a toolbox. On the job site add a piece of 1 x 4 and you have a very rigid gauge that will give you accurate measurements every time. Adjustable counter support posts direct the clamping pressure onto the 1 x 4 so that it would require a forceful blow to knock it out of alignment. Another great feature is a series of holes in the plate that allow you to pry with your nail set against the 1 x 4 snug to the skirts while you tighten the bar nuts.
It is now:
- Manufactured of zinc plated steel,
- as attractive as polished aluminum,
- more difficult to scratch or ding,
- easier to handle and adjust,
- stronger in all respects!
