Overview:
The Relton Groo-V Tip (GRT) is a multi-purpose masonry drill bit engineered for drilling hard materials. Compatible with both percussion and rotary-only drill motors, these carbide-tipped bits are designed to drill tile, hard metal, plastic, wood, marble, granite, and masonry. The 5/32in tip with a 3/16in straight shank suits both lightweight and standard drill motors. A drill-press-supported motor is recommended when drilling hard metal. Due to varying material densities, the number of holes achievable per bit will differ by material; slower speeds are recommended for harder materials, and note that some marble and granite may not be drillable with carbide tooling.
