Safely cut branches from high height trees without ever needing to climb a ladder with the Notch Sentei 21' Telescoping Pole Saw ST-4177-39.
This 4-extension pole saw extends out to a full 21' to enable cutting high height branches. The 15.4" long blade features 5.5 razor-sharp teeth per inch that will make aggressive and smooth cuts to branches with ease. An improved cam collar locks with rib lock protection, allowing the pole to extend without it slipping.
The Notch Sentei ST-4177-39 Telescoping Pole Saw is a direct replacement for the discontinued Silky 179-39 Hayauchi Pole Saw. Both pole saws can be used with the Notch Sentei Replacement Blade # ST-797-39A (sold separately).
To allow effective use of Hayauchi pole saws, two locking systems are incorporated to assure structural rigidity of the extended poles: 1) locking pins/buttons - the primary pole locking mechanism; and 2) friction clamps - the secondary pole locking mechanism. The two systems are designed to work together. This dual locking system allows 100% of the effort at the handle to be effectively transferred to the blade up to 21 feet away. Spring-loaded locking buttons allow multiple length adjustments and safety friction clamps hold the extensions firmly in place. Safety considerations require that the pole saw user must wear a hard hat and eye protection at all times.
