The Festool 578376 is an 8mm shank single-knife (Z1) HW carbide roundover cutter with a 1mm radius for use in the Festool OFK 500 edge router. The minimal 1mm radius produces a fine edge break that removes sharp arris edges from solid wood, laminate, and plastic edge banding without creating a visually prominent profile - ideal for furniture components where a clean but subtle edge finish is required. The reversible Z1 knife design allows the cutter to be rotated to double usable cutting life. Compatible with the KLS-D 15,8-OFK bearing guide (490249) for surface-guided operation.
