Overview:
The Festool 578378 is an 8mm shank, single-knife (Z1) HW carbide roundover cutter with a 3mm radius, designed for the Festool OFK 500 edge router. The reversible single knife blade design allows the cutter to be rotated to a fresh cutting edge when the first edge wears, effectively extending useful life before replacement is required. A 3mm radius produces a more pronounced rounded profile on solid wood, laminate, and plastic edge banding. Compatible with the KLS-D 15,8-OFK ball bearing guide (490249) when guiding off the workpiece surface.
